General Questions/Answers:
*
Q: Do you take on every client who comes your way? What do you look for in a client?
*
A: I do not take on every client. I truly want it to be a good match for both parties where the potential for success is high.
I don't want to waste my client's time or my time with people who are not ready, motivated, and dedicated to attaining his/her
goal(s). I ask for complete honesty, open-mindedness, and trust from my clients as well.
*
Q: How often will we talk and for how long?
* A: Our sessions will occur twice a
month, once every two weeks for 55 minutes each time. You will send me an email update on opposite weeks so I can be ensured
that you're staying on track.
* Q: Do I have to stop eating my favorite
foods?
* A: I do not believe in "diets." Habits don't stick by cutting
out certain foods only to binge on them as soon as you attain your weight goal. The recommendations I give differ according
to the individual client's goal.
* Q: Will you make me become a
vegetarian?
* A: I work WITH you. I do not try to CHANGE you. Instead, I try to help
you become your better self. I believe in bio individuality. What's good for one person is not good for another. While one
person feels great not eating meat, others feel better when they do. I am not here to judge, only to help you do the best
thing for YOUR body.
* Q: What if I only want to lose a quick 20 pounds
and be done? Do I have to do the full 6 months?
* A: Six months will help you lose
the weight and keep it off. I don't believe in dieting; I believe in living a healthy lifestyle. I will teach you how to live
a healthier lifestyle and attain your weight goal in the process. You'll develop new habits and lose old ones. Therefore,
six months is the time set in the program agreement, but I can help you lose weight quickly in the beginning if that is your
choice and we can just work on maintaining for the remaining time. I haven't met a client yet who wasn't glad I
kept them going since most people fall back off the wagon if they treat it like a diet.
I also offer individual consultations and tours to help you if your time is limited.
* Q: Can I sign up and then decide to try it on my own a couple weeks later if
I decide I'm not ready to change my lifestyle or can't really afford the program?
*
A: No, by signing the Program Agreement, you are committing to a better, healthier you for the total commitment
time, whether it is for 6 months or 1 year at a time. Once again, this is to help you achieve your goals.
*
Q: What if I don't feel ready to move on after 6 months?
* A: Many clients choose
to sign up for another 6 months to continue towards their goal(s), while others move to a maintenance plan to ensure they
stay on track. I always offer options towards the last few sessions of the plan.
*
Q: Are there any former clients I can contact about your services?
* A: I keep my clients
private. So unless they tell me otherwise, I cannot give you their information. Many clients do come from other people's satisfaction
with my work.
* Q: Do you have any
sites that you would recommend for buying healthy foods/products?
* A: Glutenfreemall.com
is a great site for wheat-free items, Drugstore.com often has good prices on packaged goods, Amazon.com offers items in bulk,
and Sunfood offers many uncommon vegan foods. Goji berries are a wonderful choice to purchase (link below):
