General Questions/Answers:
*
Q: Do you take on every client who comes your way? What do you look for in a client?
* A: Amanda's busy schedule does not allow her to take on every client, and she only
chooses to work with those who are ready, motivated, and dedicated to attaining his/her goal(s). Honesty and trust are
a must between both parties.
* Q:
How often will we talk and for how long?
* A:
Individual sessions are just that, for 55 minutes each. For the 6-month programs, sessions will occur twice a month, once
every two weeks for 55 minutes each time. You will send an email update on opposite weeks so Amanda can be ensured that you're
staying on track. Annual programs include once monthly sessions for 12 months, for 55 minutes each time. Email updates will
be sent bimonthly.
* Q: Do I have to stop eating my favorite foods?
* A: Amanda
does not believe in "diets." Habits don't stick by cutting out certain foods only to binge on them as soon as you
attain your weight goal. The recommendations given differ according to the individual client's goal.
* Q: Will you make me become a vegetarian?
*
A: Amanda works WITH the client. She does not try to CHANGE you, but become your better self instead. What's good for
one person is not good for another. While one person feels great not eating meat, others feel better when they do. Amanda
is there for you to help you do the best thing for YOUR body.
* Q: What if I only want to lose a quick 20 pounds and be done? Do I have to do the full 6 months?
* A: Six months will help you lose the weight and keep it off. Amand doesn't believe
in dieting, but instead in living a healthy lifestyle. She will teach you how to live a healthier lifestyle and attain your
weight goal in the process. You'll develop new habits and lose old ones. Therefore, six months is the time set in the program
agreement, but she can assist you in losing weight quickly in the beginning if that is your choice and work on maintaining
for the remaining time.
Individual consultations and tours are also offered
to help you if your time is limited.
*
Q: Can I sign up and then decide to try it on my own a couple weeks later if I decide I'm not
ready to change my lifestyle or can't really afford the program?
* A: No, by
signing the Program Agreement, you are committing to a better, healthier you for the total commitment time, whether it
is for 6 months or 1 year at a time. Once again, this is to help you achieve your goals.
*
Q: What if I don't feel ready to move on after 6 months?
*
A: Many clients choose to sign up for another 6 months to continue towards their goal(s), while others move to a maintenance
plan to ensure they stay on track. Options are offered towards the last few sessions of the program.
*
Q: Are there any former clients I can contact about your services?
*
A: Due to the trust each client has in Amanda, she does not disclose contact information without permission.
Many new clients do come from former client's satisfaction with the A+ Plan.

new ways to support individuals and families, supporting The Children's Aid Society, iMentor, the Walk For Premature
Babies (March Of Dimes), the 5k Run for the Wild to save the gorillas and tigers at the Bronx Zoo, and the Run
For Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She also supports the Friends of Niños de Cristo in the Dominican Republic, founded
by Amanda's favorite former college professor. She also continues to support the Center For Science In The Public Interest,
